FAQs About CSD Global Community
We understand that CSD Global Community’s virtual reality ABA therapy program might bring up some questions, especially since it offers a unique and innovative approach compared to traditional in-person and other virtual options. To help you decide if CSD Global Community’s approach to ABA therapy is right for your family, we’ve addressed some of the most common questions about our program:
Q: Is it suitable for children of all ages?
A: The suitability of our program depends on the individual child’s needs and abilities. While many of our participants are school-aged, we also serve children as young as 3 or 4. Our expert team conducts thorough assessments to determine if CSD Global Community is the right fit for your child, based on their specific goals and current developmental stage.
Q: Does the program work for children with challenging behaviors?
A: Yes, it does. Our program is designed with flexibility in mind and doesn’t require children to remain seated and still for extended periods. Sessions often integrate engaging virtual reality elements with opportunities for off-screen practice and movement. We also provide comprehensive parent and caregiver support and training to equip you with strategies to effectively support your child, even when facing challenging behaviors.
Q: Does the program work for teaching life and social skills?
A: Absolutely. The immersive nature of our virtual reality environments allows children to practice social skills in a vast array of realistic settings, such as public areas, security checkpoints, and classrooms. This provides a safe and supportive space for them to learn and apply these skills in real-time, guided by our expert clinicians.
